Working for YAH:

At You Are Here we work collaboratively as a team, all pulling together using our unique skills and experience to help each other make the festival a reality, and an amazing reality at that.  We’re committed to creating development opportunities for artists as well as those who work with them, from Excel maniacs to headless chook wranglers.

With that said, these roles can be for people who are still developing their skills, as well as people who have extensive experience and want a new challenge. If this is your first time applying for this type of role specifically, think laterally about what work you have done and how that might be relevant to the role. If you’re a seasoned pro, what can you bring to You Are Here and what challenges does the role represent for you? Being successful in these roles will also be about a willingness to learn, to adapt, take initiative to find solutions to problems you haven’t faced before and about knowing how to ask for help.

Before applying we recommend you take a look at the About page, and our 2016 program to get a sense of what, why and how we do what we do.

Applications from people with a disability and, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged. Applications from people living interstate will be considered but applicants will need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs, be available regularly via Skype and for at least 3 in person meetings in the lead-up to the festival.

If you would like to discuss any of these roles before applying or require the above documents in a different format, please email us:

Applications close at midnight on Monday 19 December 2016.
