
Emma McManus
Emma McManus is a theatre-maker, director and musician. She is a founding member of performance collective Applespiel and with them has performed at Next Wave, Sydney Festival, Performance Space and You Are Here. She directed Carly and Troy do A Doll’s House (Bank SA Emerging artist Award), Nathan Harrison’s How I Saved The Western Black Rhino (The Joan) and was Assistant Director on Sister’s Grimm’s La Traviata (Belvoir). With Maria White she created Never Trust A Creative City which premiered at the Festival of Live Arts (FoLA) at Melbourne’s Arts House, it has performed at Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres and will soon travel to Griffin Theatre’s Batch Festival. She plays bass in guitar pop band Oranges, loves reading, hates romance and is a friend to all animals.
