Bio
Rosa is an Indonesian-Australian composer and performer who plays guitar in hardcore punk and noise rock band, HYMMNN. As a composer-performer, Rosa engages with noise music, concert music and collaborative projects. This work explores experiences with identity and mental health, and orbits themes of decolonisation, heritage, communication, data and panic. Studied at ANU School of Music. Through Cahoots, Rosa explored the values that weave through, inform, and are enacted in artistic practice and how work can take a critical and active political stance.
