“Creatives in-the-park” is a chance to connect with Canberra’s creative community.
You Are Here is hosting a Sunday arvo picnic in Haig Park with artist-led conversations about collaboration, plus music, art installations, and cupcakes from our friends at Sweet Bones Bakery and Cafe.
We are bringing together creatives, local residents and business owners to spark new and ongoing relationships. We will share ideas and discuss the challenges and joys of creative collaboration.
Join conversations led by artists Daniel Savage, Sia Ahmad, Ellie Malbon and Nicci Haynes about creative accessibility, community and collaborative artmaking. Each artist will facilitate a relaxed conversation with space for you to share your own experience and learn from the experience of others. Bring along your stories, challenges and future plans, we are excited to know what’s up with you!
Free event, registration required for catering purposes and Covid-safety.
Accessibility: This is an outdoor event in Haig Park. We will be located 20 meters off a sealed path. When booking, please let us know if you have any accessibility requirements such as Auslan interpretation.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
